My name is Christina ‘Chris’ Thompson and I am the Founder and Managing Director of Compear Global Education Network LLC. I prioritize equitable and inclusive learning in corporate and global spaces, fostering innovative leadership and community-driven change through respectful disruption of conventional norms. Some of my innovative strategies have received national and international recognition and I strive to center transformative leadership as a driving force for community-centric change.

Previously, she worked in various roles at North Park University, Chicago, and received a Fulbright grant for research in India. Sumie is a trained accreditation expert and alumna of the American Academic Leadership Institute.

His research examines how education abroad professionals discuss the underrepresentation of Black and Latinx students, and how these students make meaning of those narratives, advocating for asset-based advising that centers cultural strengths.
