Introducing the Climate Justice Global Educators Grant
About the Grant
The Foundations of Climate Justice Global Education Grant is an initiative of the Compear Global Education Network, offered in partnership with Alethea Global Cooperative through their Catalyst Partnership. This grant provides complimentary access to a limited number of course seats for members of the Global Respectful Disruption Summit (GRDS) community. Designed to advance equity-centered global learning, the program aligns with the Respectful Disruption Leadership (RDL) Journey Map and supports participants in exploring the intersections of climate justice and international education.

This initiative is funded and supported by Alethea Global Cooperative as part of their Catalyst-level commitment to promoting access and systemic transformation in international education. Grant recipients will also have opportunities to connect through GRDS community engagement activities, including the 2025 Global Respectful Disruption Mini Summit and the 2026 Global Respectful Disruption Summits.
Introducing the Gateway International Education Administrators Grant
The Gateway International Education Administrators Grant is designed to support international educators in advancing their professional development through innovative projects and initiatives that contribute to the field of international education. This grant is meant fund innovative projects that enhance international understanding, address critical challenges, promote equity and inclusion, and enhance global learning frameworks.

Powered by COMPEAR Global Education Network, GoAbroad.com, Kultural Kurators, and The Fund for Education Abroad, the GRDI Scholarship is more than financial aid; it's a call to action for social justice, activism, and innovative change. The scholarship, offering awards ranging from $1,500 to $3,000, supports travel abroad or domestic intercultural programs. It's aimed at individuals ready to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive world through their unique ideas and projects.
Applicants are evaluated on their ability to propose transformative solutions addressing critical prompts from sponsors, focusing on social justice and community development. With a deadline for submissions on March 31st for Summer 2024 participation, the scholarship encourages a wide range of creative expressions, from essays to art, at the annual Global Respectful Disruption Summit.
How to Participate
For the GRDI Scholarship, applicants must be accepted into a study, travel, or internship abroad or a domestic intercultural program. The scholarship emphasizes the diversity of perspectives and is open to all ages, requiring no GPA for eligibility but a current U.S. address. Each selected scholar will receive one semester of mentorship through our innovative co-construction model.
Global Respectful Disruption Initiative (GRDI) Scholarship and Leadership Program
Compear Personal Development Grant (CPDG)
In partnership with strategic partners, each year Compear offers the Personal Development Fund Grant. This $1,000 grant, awarded to two individuals, aims to foster personal and professional growth for those working towards social justice and equity within their communities.
Eligibility hinges on attendance at the Global Respectful Disruption Summit's Welcome session, where participants can enter the grant competition by actively participating in the summit's sessions and activities.
Awardees are announced during the Post-Summit Reflection, underscoring Compear's commitment to impactful change through education and personal development.
How to Participate
To compete for the Compear Personal Development Grant, attendees must register individually for the Global Respectful Disruption Summit, actively participate, and be present during the announcement to claim their grant. Terms and condition may apply and are shared with grant recipients in the grant agreement.
