We are offering $1,500-$3,000 for your intercultural learning, we challenge you to use this opportunity to advance social justice and community involvement.

    Compear.org was founded in response to an evident disparity in global education. We observed a world where certain narratives were favored, while global histories and marginalized voices was too often silenced. This led us to realize that to achieve authentic diversity, equity, and inclusion, it wasn't enough to merely adjust the system in place. We needed to revolutionize it. That was when we embraced the approach we now call 'respectful disruption.' Christina 'Chris' Thompson (she/her/hers) is a distinguished figure in global education, justice, and the practice of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her most recent accolades include the esteemed Go Abroad Awards for Innovation in Diversity (2022), being a finalist for the London PIE Awards for Innovation in Diversity (2022), and receiving the 2021 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advocate in International Education award from NAFSA Region 7. Over the years, Chris's exceptional contributions to her field have been recognized and celebrated through numerous awards and recognitions. Read more
