The Foundations of Climate Justice and Internationalization Course Grant.

Empowering Educators, Leaders, and Changemakers in Global Education

In Partnership With:
🌍 Compear Global Education Network (Administrator)
🌎 Alethea Global Cooperative (Sponsor)

The Foundations of Climate Justice Global Education Grant is an initiative of the Compear Global Education Network (CGEN), offered in partnership with Alethea Global Cooperative through their Catalyst Partnership.

This grant provides complimentary access to a limited number of course seats:

  • Cohort 1 (Fall 2025): Participants will be selected directly from this application process.

  • Cohort 2 (Winter/Spring 2026): Additional participants will be chosen through a special grant entry contest held during the GRDS Mini Summit on December 12, 2025, with further opportunities for open applications following the summit.

Designed to advance equity-centered global learning, the program aligns with the Respectful Disruption Leadership (RDL) Journey Map. It supports participants in exploring the intersections of climate justice and international education.

Why This Matters

This first-of-its-kind asynchronous course was created by international practitioners, for international practitioners. Participants will not only complete the course, but also join a cohort-style learning communityβ€”meeting regularly to exchange ideas, reflect on practice, and collaborate on real-world applications of climate justice in international education.

The program equips participants to:

  • Integrate climate justice into institutional strategy and global learning programs

  • Advance sustainable and accountable practices in international education

  • Promote equity and inclusion in climate action worldwide

  • Lead systemic change through innovative, justice-centered approaches
