The Gateway International Education Administrators Grant is designed to support international educators in advancing their professional development through innovative projects that contribute to the field of international education.

This grant is not intended solely for conference attendance. Instead, it funds forward-thinking initiatives that:
Enhance international understanding
Address critical challenges in global education
Promote equity and inclusion
Advance global learning frameworks

Grant Cycles & Awards

Spring 2025 Cycle

🟢 Awards Available: 2 grants of up to $1,000 each
📅 Opens: Late February 2025
Deadline: April 1, 2025
📢 Awardee Announcement: Mid April 2025

Fall 2025 Cycle

🟢 Awards Available: 1 grant of up to $1,000
📅 Opens: August 2025
Deadline: September 1, 2025
📢 Awardee Announcement: Early October 2025

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

✔️ Work in international education (administrators, program coordinators, faculty, or staff).
✔️ Propose an innovative project that supports international education administrators in professional development and contributes to the field.
✔️ Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid U.S. bank account for fund disbursement.
✔️ Demonstrate a notable impact (e.g., open-access resources, scalable pilot programs, published research).
✔️ Not solely seek funding for conference attendance – though conference participation is permitted if it supports a broader initiative (e.g., presenting research, leading a workshop).

Selection Process & Evaluation Criteria

A selection committee convened by Compear Global Education Network will review applications based on:

🔹 Innovation & Relevance – Does the project advance international education and tackle critical challenges?
🔹 Impact & Sustainability – Will the project have long-term benefits and scalability for the professional community?
🔹 Feasibility – Is the plan realistic with a clear timeline, budget, and execution strategy?
🔹 Alignment with Grant Priorities – Does the project reflect equity, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing in international education?
