Compear.org was founded in response to an evident disparity in global education. We observed a world where certain narratives were favored, where the rich tapestry of global histories and marginalized voices was too often silenced. This led us to realize that to achieve authentic diversity, equity, and inclusion, it wasn't enough to merely adjust the system in place. We needed to revolutionize it. That was when we embraced the approach we now call 'respectful disruption.' This approach is also the basis of my doctoral research and framework that we use for our educational programming and coaching.

In this recap, Founder and Managing Director of COMPEAR.org, Christina Thompson discuss the 2023 Global RD Summit successes, with a 50% increase in attendees compared to the previous year. The engagement rate remained commendably high at 99% even after maintaining 75% engagement in post summit networking. Participants praised the thought-provoking topics and diverse perspectives presented. Summit recordings are accessible until a specified date, and feedback is welcomed for future improvements. The introduction of a learning guide initiative and the Global Respectful Disruption Initiative (GRDI) received significant attention and support. Read more….
